Delicious New Offerings, Same Great Taste! Stopped by our Old Town cafe lately? If so, you know that we have revised our sandwich menu. Still offering classics like The Big George, Chicken Pesto panini, and our famous tuna veggie melt (re-named to the Charlie Melt y’all), we’ve added the Eating Nemo (a spicy steal at $5!) and the Smoked Salmon wrap. There is something for everyone, made fresh to order! Customizing your sandwich is not a problem; choose from a variety of fresh sandwich toppings like our tangy cranberry chutney or our homemade guacamole (highly recommended with bacon!). Good Citizen Bittersweet Bittersweet Catering’s security cameras aid the Alexandria Police in identifying a man who is believed to have burglarized our neighbor, PMA Properties, late in August. Bittersweet shares a common alley behind the 800 block of King Street with several neighbors and has surrendered all tapes from that evening to the police in hope of apprehending this criminal. The alleged perpetrator is suspected in other similar break-ins, often targeting restaurants and entering through the roof. The video has even been posted on YouTube. Do you know this man?.
