Bittersweet Gives Back
This October, we participated in several events. First, there was the Alexandria Rotary Club's Taste for Giving benefiting the Alexandria Commission for the Arts at the Torpedo Factory. All the local restaurants were there, along with Prince Michel wines for an evening of food, art and fun. Earlier we joined Cupcakes for a Cause. Renowned bakeries, gourmet grocery stores, and individuals across the country baked and sold specially decorated cupcakes to benefit CancerCare for Kids, a national organization offering practical support, education and advice to parents, and counseling to children and teens to help them understand cancer.
On October 28, we held our first TweetUp! Bittersweet is using online tools such as Twitter to get connected to their customers and we were really excited to meet you all in person and hearing what you have to say! We also unveiled four tasty new hot sandwiches that evening. Thank you to Tate Linden of Stokefire for buying drinks for everyone!
