You’ll swear that granny made this herself. Cool on continentals? Toss the Danish and muffins and try the new Bittersweet Breakfast Bread Display. Our delightful new assortment of marble swirl poundcake and banana, carrot and lemon poppyseed breads is made right here in our King Street bakery.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
St. Patrick's Day honors St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. We celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 17. Americans march in parades, dance the Irish jig and gather to sing Irish songs. People wear green in memory of Ireland, the Emerald Isle and wear shamrocks, clover with three leaves.
Here at Bittersweet we celebrate with food! Call our sales reps to pre order some mini corned beef sandwiches, shamrock cut out cookies and Irish Crème Puffs. Want to check out other seasonal or new menu items? Be sure to visit our New Product page.

Bittersweet Is Going Green!
There is ‘donning the green’ and there is ‘going green’. Here at Bittersweet Café, we’re doing both! Our brand new carry out boxes will be appearing soon. Made from 100% sugarcane (bagasse, see below) , they are biodegradable, compostable, freezer safe, microwave safe AND kind to the environment.
Bagasse:
Bagasse is sugarcane pulp, a by product from sugar mills. It is an alternative to tree fiber for paper product production. Bagasse pulp products are available in bleached (white) or UNBLEACHED (light brown) options.
