It’s Lemonade Time!

The earliest written evidence of lemonade comes from Egypt in the 11th century.

In Britain, Australia and New Zealand the name lemonade usually refers to a drink that is carbonated.

The Compagnie de Limonadiers was formed in Paris in 1676 and granted monopoly rights to vendors dispensing the product from tanks carried on their backs.

About one fourth of the world's lemons are grown in the United States, mostly in California. A lemon tree may bear as many as 3,000 lemons annually.

The perfect summer beverage for young and old alike, our signature cranlemonade is freshly made in our café daily and is also available by the gallon in catering.

Hold on tight - with both hands!

Online Ordering for the Cafe

We are slowly approaching August, marking our first year anniversary of being open during the evenings!  A huge thank you to all who have dined with us and enjoyed Bittersweet’s evening menu and desserts. Quite a lot has happened over the course of the year and one of the most exciting add-ons has been our new ‘on-line ordering’ feature for the café. Feel free to forward any comments or suggestions to me at neya@bittersweetcatering.com.
