Answering those burning questions frequently asked
Do I need a chafing dish?
This is a question you may be asked when purchasing any item that is meant to be consumed hot. If you are receiving the items hot within 10-20 minutes prior to when you plan to serve it - a chafing dish isn't really needed per se. If you are setting up a hot entree or hors d'oeuvres as a buffet for your guests to help themselves to as they like - then we would strongly recommend getting a disposable chafing dish just so the product stays hot for your enjoyment as well as keeping at proper temperature for consuming.

Chafing dishes are meant to keep food hot during service - not to reheat food or to bring food back up to temperature. Using a chafing dish to do so may cause the item to enter what is known as the "danger zone" - when food-borne illnesses can develop. To ensure the quality of product as well as the safety of your guests we do offer disposable chafing dishes as well as heating instructions for any and all our hot items.
